Privacy Policy
Introduction
All organizations that process personal data are required to comply with data protection legislation. This includes in particular the Data Protection Act 1998 (or its successor) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (together the ‘Data Protection Laws’). The Data Protection Laws give individuals (known as ‘data subjects’) certain rights over their personal data while imposing certain obligations on the organizations that process their data.
As a human capital consultant and recruitment business, Global HR Expert Consulting LLC (the “Company”) collects and processes personal data on its’ clients and potential job applicants. It is required to do so to comply with other legislation. It is also required to keep this data for different periods depending on the nature of the data.
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit our “site” (www.GlobalHRExpert.com), or when you submit candidate information.
Personal Information We Collect
For clients, when you visit our website and complete a “contact us” request form, we collect certain information about you such as your name, email, and/or telephone number so we may contact you about your request for our services and invoicing purposes.
If you are an applicant for one of our executive search engagements, we may require a resume or CV from you, which may include the following: name, title, employer, educational background, and career history as well as other things you may have chosen to include on your resume/CV.
If you are an individual who provides a personal reference or feedback for a candidate, we may collect and process your contact details, certain professional details (such as title, qualifications and career history) and your connection to the candidate. We may collect this information directly from you, the candidate or from publicly available sources. We may, in the future, use your contact details for further professional engagements.
Sharing Your Personal Information

If you are an applicant for one of our search engagements, we will share the personal information you provide us (either in discussions, or on your resume/CV) with our client in order to assess your compatibility for the role you are applying for.
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Data Retention
As a client, when you place a “contact us” request through our website, we will maintain your contact information (name, email, telephone number) for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. We retain the information you provide us in order to process billing and invoicing, as well as emails for proposals and general contact.
As an applicant, we will maintain your candidacy information throughout the length of the search process, and we may retain it to represent you in future search activities. We will retain all or some of the information above until you request for it to be erased.
Modify, erase, restrict, or correct personal data retention or processing
The individual or another entity that controls the personal data, at the individual’s request, has the right to ask us to modify, correct, restrict or erase an individual’s personal data.
If we receive such a request, we will of course comply in a timely manner (typically within one month of your request). The Company cannot keep a record of individuals whose data it has erased so the individual may be contacted again by the Company should the Company come into possession of the individual’s personal data at a later date.
If the Company has given the personal data to any third parties it will tell those third parties that it has received a request to modify, correct, restrict, or erase the personal data, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. Those third parties should also rectify the personal data they hold - however the Company will not be in a position to audit those third parties to ensure that the rectification has occurred.
Should you request that we remove your personal information from our database, please note that we may retain a minimal amount of personal information about you in order to prevent future contact, record your wish for your data to be removed, and to keep a record of the information disclosed to our clients.
Data Portability
The individual shall have the right to receive personal data concerning him or her, which he or she has provided to the Company, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another data controller in circumstances where:
- The processing is based on the individual’s consent or a contract; and
- The processing is carried out by automated means.
Where feasible, the Company will send the personal data to a named third party on the individual’s request.
Communicating Personal Data Breaches to Individuals
Where the Company has identified a personal data breach resulting in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of any individual, the Company shall tell all affected individuals without undue delay.
The Company will not be required to tell individuals about the personal data breach where:
- The Company has implemented appropriate technical and organizational protection measures to the personal data affected by the breach, in particular to make the personal data unintelligible to any person who is not authorized to access it, such as encryption.
- The Company has taken subsequent measures which ensure that the high risk to the rights and freedoms of the individual is no longer likely to materialize.
- It would involve disproportionate effort to tell all affected individuals. Instead, the Company shall make a public communication or similar measure to tell all affected individuals.
Your European Privacy Rights
For European Residents Only. If you are based in the EU, in certain circumstances, you have rights under the GDPR in relation to your personal information.
- Request access to your personal information. You may have the right to request access to any personal information we hold about you as well as related information, including the purposes for processing the personal information, the recipients or categories of recipients with whom the personal information has been shared, where possible, the period for which the personal information will be stored, the source of the personal information, and the existence of any automated decision making.
- Request correction of your personal information. You may have the right to obtain without undue delay the rectification of any inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Request erasure of your personal information. You may have the right to request that personal information held about you is deleted.
- Request restriction of processing your personal information. You may have the right to prevent or restrict processing of your personal information.
- Request transfer of your personal information. You may have the right to request transfer of personal information directly to a third party where this is technically feasible.
Use of Cookies

Similarly if we have collected and processed your personal information on the basis of your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. We also use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about your use of the Site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users access the Site, what pages they visit when they do so, etc. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve our Site and services. Google Analytics collects the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit sites, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this Site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use
and the Google Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
Enforcement of Rights And How To Contact Us

You have the right to bring a complaint to the relevant data protection authority in your jurisdiction about our collection and use of your personal information. Where you believe that we have not complied with our obligations under this Privacy Policy or European data protection laws, you have the right to make a complaint to an EU Data Protection Authority, such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Additionally, please note that your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States if it is required due to the nature of our client and search agreement.
